Needless to say Shangri-La kinda mind raped me there at the end but did so a fairly graceful manner. I almost felt overwhelmed by the COUNTLESSS!!!! effing plot twists but at least it kept me entertained while it was having an orgasm in my eye socket. It would have been better if it was spread over another season imo- but overall you really discovered a lot about the characters in the last 3 or so episodes. The art was nice and the characters were really fun. I feel like this anime explored a realm of magic and technology that hadn't been looked at too much.

7.5/10 Good- not AMAZING, but still an interesting show :3

Spring 09

Hatsukoi Limited- kinda got my interest but not enough for me to spend time on it.
Senjou no Valkyria- Not interested in game animes unless i've played the game
Higashi no Eden- <3
Tear to Tiara- looks cute but not high on my list.
Asura Cryin- didn't strike me as worth while.
Saki- Really like the yuri theme!! But its like.. hikaru no go for girls ;p
FMA:Brotherhood- DUH.

07-Ghost- started reading the manga a while back... might watch if I have any free time.

This anime takes place in the future where vegetation has taken over and there are strict CO2 restrictions world wide. Kuniko (our adorable main character) is discovering herself and expanding through the 16 episodes currently out. There is a lot going on and I'm still a little baffled at the random ritualistic parts. I'm eager to see where this will go.

The truth is, I don't know where this one is gonna go- thats why I'm so eager. There are a lot of characters to keep track of and each has their own history that has been nicely developed in these first episodes. I feel like the introductions are over and the story is going to take off in the next few episodes and I'm really looking forward to it. This anime has a lot of great elements in it and, while its a little sloppy, I feel it will pull itself together and turn out to be pretty good.

Well, the redundant title is not the only thing this anime's got going for it. Its got a good opening to the story then runs into a fricking brick wall a few episodes in, followed by loop holes and an entire episode where awesome stuff is supposed to happen... and then doesn't... and it seemed like they just didn't want to animate it.

Anywho, I looked into this anime since it was made by BeeTrain who I recalled made .hack//sign. I was a fan of .hack and I looked into Phantom expecting it to have similarly slow pacing. I was right. Very slow story with random hops and jumps along with unnecessary recap episodes. For now, I wouldn't recommend this as a "must see" of the spring season... but we'll see how it goes.

I'm not going to post the opening simply because the song grinds on me and I don't wanna listen to it more than I have to (therefore I'm not going to look). Instead- here's the awesome first Full Metal Alchemist: Brotherhood opening!

So.. this is just a brief squeel of excitement at watching the newest opening to Brotherhood... it looks like its gonna actually follow the manga!!!!!! If you haven't heard my rant about the first FMA anime... you don't wanna.*mumbles death threats* >.>....

So I'm happy. I really like the manga and I hope this anime doesn't let me down.

To begin, this anime induced me to tilt my head and say "huh?" as you meet the main character in his birthday suit. It starts off in America with really amusing broken English and everyone seems to know Japanese. Moving beyond that... the "wtf?" factor continued to draw me in. The first few episodes throw so many questions at you you're wondering if you're watching a sequel. This was a positive and negative feature of the anime- the questions are eventually answered so it makes it okay.

Once you get over this initial hump... its pretty interesting! A secret organization with cool phones and lots of money, a cute main character and this one chick who cuts off penises... yeah... thats right... we wander back into the "wtf?" zone but at least its "interesting"?

So, there are 13 players, called Selecao, in this "game" created by Mr. Outside and they are given a large sum of money with which to save Japan. They are given these phones that contact a person named Juiz who will do anything and everything the Selecao requests. Through the show we only meet a handful of Selecao and we get to learn their take on what it means to save Japan.

I really enjoyed the twists and turns of this anime. Much of it was unexpected!! which is hard to find in anime now-a-days.The opening is pretty awesome too.

Well I have to say I'm a bit addicted to CoD... I dreamed it and I want to play more >.<

I got to see Garrett! And my nerves are much more calmed now -w-

But I miss him even more now that I'm back -.-

Hanging out with Tony and David was an immature blast! I find it amusing the levels of humor I find amusing. Just avoid puns and I'm usually pretty tickled. :3

I miss the warmth of Tony's house as well as the Tony inside it. ;-;

I start classes on Monday. REAL classes. Gotta wake up for em and everything. >.-

I wanna play games I think but I should keep getting ready for Monday... It'll be nice to have a routine though. o:

Well I'm kinda avoiding sleep since I don't want to wake up and do all the crap that I have to do for tomorrow. This includes (but is not limited to):
LAUNDRY!!!!!
Cleaning- which is mostly laundry...
Get the cable upgraded for Kate
Get some cat litter
Get my hair cut (optional)

Seemed like there was more... laundry will take up a lot of the day though... what do I do while its going? Should I just do this convoy between my house and the cleaners? Instead of waiting and doing homework I'll just come back and get another load? o: sounds doable.

I guess the major thing is that I wanna play CoD >.< and I think my neighbor got upset cuz I played it too loud too late.

Really wish I had another game though... maybe this will hone my skillz until I at least get Halo from my moms X3
o.O it'll be weird to play Halo after playing CoD4.

;-; and now its 4 in the morning and I should wake up to do stuff at like... 8 or 9... I will somehow force myself awake!!!

I hate laundry.

I want to see Garrett.

I should go to sleep...

Maybe I will go sleep in my bed.

Something about the couch is more comforting somehow... feels less like sleeping alone I guess.

Well I can't say I'm addicted to playing CoD yet since I haven't actually gotten the chance to get all awesome and comfortable with my abilities yet. Fighting Garrett has been a blast and I think I'm picking up familiarity with maps and how the guns work. I really do need to get another game I can play when I'm doing something like eating, cuz even if there is a pause in campaign I work hard not to use it.

I'm happy with the shotgun and the skorpion thus far and I'm working hard on my pistol =D

Otherwise... just gonna finish up my typing and then all thats left is my maths final!

*slaps Garrett with a wet noodle* you know you deserve it.

Firo got on my finger today! It made me amazingly happy! ^-^

I'll be around the Beaverton for a day or two before I head to Disney for those who have not already made plans with me.

I read in my health book that it's good to keep a journal, but I can't think of why. I never say anything much that related to the day. I mean.. if I just talked about today it'd be like... I slept in till 10 today. I ignored homework for most of the morning. I spend more time not doing homework training Firo. I did some homework and feel like I did more then I had planned. I think my neighbors are crazy... they make lots of weird noises >.>...

Jade is cute, but that is an ever present fact that is similar to common sense. Some get it, some don't.

What makes you able to get your homework done? I manage somehow, but I seem to need a reminder today. I've been thinking more about getting a little job simply because I dunno how long I can find ways to avoid doing homework.

In other news! There is little news.

I made coconut shrimp! Which were yummy. I baked a cake! Which I should eat. Firo ate out of my hand! Which made me happy. I dun wanna do homework! Which makes me sad -.-

I want lots of things, but since I kinda got a lot of money spent on me these last few months it would be mean to ask for more.

But I wan an XBox 360 and/or a PS3. But before either of those I'd like a small HDTV otherwise the games would look like crap on my current TV.

I feel so selfish and mean... but my other option is getting a job, which is not exactly what I want to do. I've got my playsation 2 but I miss Fallout and Assassin's Creed! I thought about just getting them for my computer... but my computer can't really run them well cuz its getting old ;-;

I guess I'll figure something out.

Family finally left today. So now I can do my homework that I'm currently not doing. Oh well.

Well, already a bit behind... but my family has been down here for the past few days. I'm so not missing the chaos and I'm glad they're leaving tomorrow morning. In other news:
I got a my first Christmas tree and I'm gonna set it up today.
I bought lots of food that was organic and hopefully yummy.
I haven't shaved for a week because I have yet to obtain a razor in which to shave with.
I JUST set up my wireless interwebz so I'm very happy.
It was my daddy's birthday on the 26th but we're having it today.
Tonight the family is going watch Wall-E and make space helmets.
Jade is still really annoying, but she's cute so it's okay.
And... I really want an 360.

Well that has been the past few days. Still homework yet to do that has yet to be done too. Looking forward to winter break.

I dunno if I should start posting in LJ every day or a very pretty journal I got a while back. Both maybe? Seems like it'd take up a lot of time... I think I'll save the journal a bit longer.

So today I did homework... and cleaned... >.>... sounds very normal for a "new life" huh? I guess I went for a walk to the Co-op a few blocks away then I wandered town until I smelled yummy pizza. I bought the pizza and it was yummy and I still have half of it for tomorrow (small pizza).

Jade keeps hiding under the sheets which is cute but a little sad. She's also been waking me up at around 6 every morning. She's such a spaz cat.

Firo seems like he couldn't care less so I think that's a good thing.

I'm happy overall and much calmer about this then I was expecting. So YaY!
